I was looking at "Broken Road" because I have thought of that song as a great companion to the story of finding my awesome husband, but it's pure country and I will lose Bryce's participation in listening to the playlist because of it (definitely not a country fan). :) Thanks for your comment! And Bryce, love you too!Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15868505568965284742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7998166587816121679.post-11817416974194062902011-08-14T16:13:09.410-07:002011-08-14T16:13:09.410-07:00Man I am a lucky lucky husband. I've used "Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts a lot for myself on our journey, both to adoption and my current DE pregnancy (without the "broken road" of IF, I wouldn't have the children I do, and they are exactly the ones I want and was meant to have!") I've also drawn positive energy from Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World by Iz--all about dreaming of a better world/life, and the line "I hear babies cry and I watch them grow/they'll learn much more/than we'll know" really gets me when I think of my little ones. We danced to the Louis Armstrong version as our mother-son/father-daughter dance at our wedding, so that's special too :) Love this idea--thanks for sharing such a great list!Willowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319707316191000140noreply@blogger.com
